Emma Collins
Ballet Teacher
Emma has been dancing from the age of four, where she was spotted by Regina in the her annual Summer Camp, Happy Feet. She quickly joined the Regina Rogers School of Ballet, (now the Galway Ballet Academy), and spent many happy years in the school. Here she developed her love of performing and took her ballet exams.

It was through Regina she had the opportunity to join the Irish Youth Russian Ballet Company, Dublin, in it's founding year.
She then became a member of the Monica Loughman Ballet Company where she spent many years happily performing on Irelands biggest stages, before leaving the company as a soloist in 2017.

Some highlights from this time include performing with the Perm State Ballet of Russia in Romeo and Juliet when they performed at the Bord Gais Theatre in Dublin, and performing for Irelands President Michael D. Higging in Árus an Úachtaráin in 2015.
Emma began teaching with Galway Ballet Academy in 2009, and over the past 16 years she has brought her knowledge, her skill and her generosity to each and every class in her care. Each year she prepares the students for their ARBTA examinations, National Competitions, International Galas, and School Performances. She is a highly valued member of our staff.
Emma is a member of the Association of Russian Ballet Theatre and Arts since its introduction into Ireland and she continues to develop and strenghten her teaching through Continuous Professional Development with ARBTA.
Emma also holds the PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) Teacher qualification.
